When you first sign up for a free PressMeGPT account, you’ll be asked to verify your email. This security step is to help keep the community safe.
If you don’t receive an email confirmation when you sign up for a PressMeGPT account, please try the following steps:
- Wait a little longer – Sometimes emails are instant. Other times they can take 5 minutes or more to be received. This is sometimes because either the email is queued in line behind other emails or has to go through spam filters on the receiving side. You should receive the email with in 10-15 minutes but it might be as long as an hour depending on your spam filters.
- Check your spam folder – Most issues receiving verification emails are because the message incorrectly ends up in your spam folder.
- Have your IT check your spam server – If 15 minutes has gone by and you still don’t see the email in your spam folder or inbox, you might need to check with your IT to see if the message got flagged for spam at the email server level.
